An excellent safety record is one of the key characteristics we look for in all new employees. Custom Electric ensures all our employees are properly trained on how to operate safely before they set foot on jobsites. We continuously upgrade their safety training to ensure Custom Electric's employees follow industry best practices.
Custom Electric employs two full-time safety officers to design and implement our workplace safety programs. They regularly visit our jobsites to ensure workplace safety guidelines are followed and answer questions about safety best practices at toolbox meetings.
Custom Electric has won industry safety awards and has fulfilled the requirements for maintaining its Certificate of Recognition from Alberta Human Resources and Employment since 1998. This program recognizes companies that have designed and implemented an adequate workplace safety program.
Custom Electric developed a formal environmental policy to maximize job site recycling, while reducing the overall amount of waste. We also offer energy saving technologies to reduce the amount of greenhouse gas generated to power your facility or home.
